About Ella Lehaf - Company Director

Ella completed her studies with a Degree in the Music Industry in 2000, this followed up with her working in many aspects of the Music Industry for 6 years including the set up of a record company, Event Management and Tour Management. Furthermore her Event Management skills are continually developed through her involvement in the Melbourne International Tap Festival.

In 2006 Ella decided to turn her skills to the film industry lining up her first feature film project ‘Torn’ with Instinct Entertainment as a Production Coordinator. On completion of this Ella continued her film work as Production Manager (Australian Unit) for Yash Raj Films/Swish Black Cat on ‘Chak De India’ in Melbourne and Sydney. Additionally Ella has dabbled in freelance journalism having been a Music Editor for local magazine ‘Your Industry’ and currently writing editorial for international music industry trade magazine ‘A’n’R’. In 2007 Ella joined the team at Instinct Entertainment to assist with the exciting new projects and development of kids shows. Her main roles included co-producing the pilot DVD ‘Zokky the Kangaroo’, producing and developing the concept document for Toocool and Music Supervisor & Post Production Coordinator for Paul Hogan & Shane Jacobson’s film ‘Charlie & Boots.’ 2009 witnessed Ella partner up with Michelle Murphy to form ‘Mishella Entertainment', as well as teaching at JMC Academy. Now in 2010, Ella is based in London.

About Michelle Murphy - Company Director

Since graduating from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Screen Studies and Contemporary Photography, Michelle has accumulated a wealth of experience in all areas of film and entertainment. Upon graduation Michelle worked in post production, as an Assistant Editor on the feature film ‘Tom White’, and Post Production Coordinator on the feature film ‘Strange Bedfellows’. In 2004, Michelle worked as an Event Manager, and then moved onto becoming a collaborative member of Instinct Entertainment as a Development Executive working on various Instinct projects.

The following year Michelle worked as the Melbourne based Publicist on the Feature Film 'Josh Jarman' and produced a pilot for the children’s series ‘JuJu Eyeballs’. In 2006, Michelle Co-Produced the US set Feature Film 'Torn', starring Costas Mandylor and Damien Richardson and then in 2007 Developed and Produced the children’s pilot series 'Zokky the Kangaroo'. By 2008 Michelle had set up the new exciting division of Instinct Entertainment known as Instinct KIDS with work colleague Ella Lehaf, and was Marketing and Publicity Co-ordinator on the Feature Film ‘Charlie & Boots’ Starring Paul Hogan and Shane Jacobson. To further her career Michelle took a range of short courses including; Arista Development to hone her development and producing skills and in 2009 started up Mishella Entertainment with Ella Lehaf. Michelle has also branched out into design, event supervising and managment.
